Duties In charge of the accounting activities of the company. Monitors financial performance and identifies areas for improvement and/or risk mitigation. Evaluates and recommends financial strategies to senior management. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Provide relevant timely information to the business partners of the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Financial control and statutory financial activities
• Manages the Project's accounting closing processes. In particular, ensures the committed costs logged into the accounting system are updated and consistent, in coordination with the Project Cost Control function
• Coordinates payment of advisors and contractors at PCO level (to be performed in coordination with the PMO).
• Reviews and analyzes SPC accounts, performs cost accounting analysis
• Leads permitting process and obtaining consent from local authorities (NEGU etc.) in coordination with the CFO
• Coordinates administration process at PCO level in consultation with PMO
• Ensures compliance with legal obligations regarding statutory accounting requirements
• Manages local matters (tax and finance)
Cash management
• Analyzes the actual cash balance and the cash flow forecast in order to determine amounts to be called and dividend to be distributed
Prepares financial information to be provided to Shareholders:
• On a monthly basis, a cash flow statement for the current month and a cash flow forecast for the next twelve months, an analysis of funding and revenues
• On a quarterly basis, unaudited pro forma balance sheet and profit and loss statement, together with current cash flow statement
• On a yearly basis, the Project's corporate accounts together with related reports of the statutory auditors
• Other additional information or audits required by the Shareholders
Other accounting and controlling tasks:
• Implements analytical structure in ERP (SAP or equivalent), consistent with breakdown structures deployed by Project Control when required
• Analyze and monitor SAP and C1 systems related transactions. Provide timely and quality high-level interpretations of data to the top management
• Internal services annual rates calculation
• Follow-ups internal services invoicing
• Ensures close collaboration work with Project Cost Control and other relevant Project team members
• Conducts necessary training to keep the team's skills and knowledge up to date.
• Ensures proper tax interviews with clients and collects necessary documents.
• Reviews corporate and personal income tax returns to ensure accuracy.
• Advises business owners and individuals regarding the tax code.
• Oversees the processing of all types of payroll taxes.
• Nurtures and builds client relationships.
• Addresses potential compliance issues proactively.
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Upholds the excellent reputation of our firm.
• Works collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals.
• In charge of Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Stock accounting and Fixed Assets
• Coordinates the issuance of monthly reports and financial reports such as: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows, Weekly and Monthly Margins, Inventories Reconciliations, Debtor and Creditor lists, Budget Reports. Prepare reports weekly, monthly, and annually.
• Assists in development of annual budget.
• Reconciles accounts, posts journal entries, and maintains a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.
• Schedules monthly tax payments, Income Tax withholdings and any other tax related matters.
• Keeps control of such legal books and records of accounts as General Ledger, Sales Records, Purchases Records, and Inventory.
• Coordinate, monitors, and executes independent audits, and provides all necessary information for compliance on deadlines. Works closely with independent auditors during and preparing schedules for the annual audit.
• Prepares Annual Financial Report including financial statements, notes, and supporting schedules
• Maintains compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times
• Handles full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, forecasting, budgeting etc.
• Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts operations.
• Performs full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
• Performs project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
• Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting.
• Reviews and approves payment vouchers and journal entries.
• Performs cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams.
• Develops and maintains internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
• Supports CFO in ensuring that inter company cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy
• Consultative with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives

Professional requirements The Successful Applicant
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Master's Degree and/or additional qualification is an asset.
• Min 10 years relevant experience in financial and management accounting particularly in the Energy sector will be an added advantage.
• Qualified Auditor with ACCA or equivalent credentials having passed the board.
• Excellent strategic planning skills, ability to interact with all levels.
• Able to work independently and highly meticulous.
• Language Skills: English, Russian or Uzbek
